May Yul-Edochie Asks Court To Block Theisen’s, Others’ Accounts

According to reports, the suit marked LD/10737/GCM/2026 was filed by her legal representatives, Jessica Egbafor and Esther Fijo of Greylaw Partners, against Yinka Omolola Theisen, Chidi Ozoma, Emeka Ugwuonye and other unidentified individuals.

In the legal action, Yul-Edochie is asking the court to issue a perpetual injunction restraining the defendants from publishing what she described as defamatory, threatening and harassing content about her on platforms including Facebook, Instagram and X.

She is also seeking a mandatory order compelling the defendants to delete the social media accounts and posts allegedly used to target her, while requesting that relevant social media companies remove the disputed accounts and provide user information to assist investigations.

In a 126-paragraph affidavit filed before the court, Queen May alleged that she had endured years of online harassment through various blogs, social media pages and accounts operated by the defendants.

She claimed that some of the alleged publications contained false claims, edited images, insulting content, AI-generated materials and other posts designed to ridicule her and harm her reputation.

The actress and entrepreneur further alleged that despite issuing legal notices in 2025 demanding the removal of the disputed content, the alleged attacks continued, with new pages reportedly created to sustain the campaign against her.

She also accused one of the defendants, whom she identified as her former lawyer, of allegedly revealing confidential information obtained during their professional relationship and using it to publish what she described as damaging content.

Yul-Edochie told the court that the alleged online attacks had negatively affected her businesses, brand partnerships and public image, while also exposing her family members to harassment and the circulation of private information.

She is therefore asking the court to prevent further publications, order the removal of the disputed accounts and direct the defendants to stop any actions she considers defamatory or harmful.

Justice Abdul-Raheem Tejumade Muyideen, who presided over the matter, directed that court documents be served on the defendants through their last known addresses, email contacts, social media accounts and other electronic channels linked to them.

The case was subsequently adjourned for a report on the service of the court processes.

The latest legal move follows earlier cease-and-desist notices issued by Queen May in September 2025 to Emeka Ugwuonye and Yinka Omolola Theisen over allegations of cyberbullying, cyberstalking and defamation.

Through her lawyers, she had demanded that the alleged offensive posts be removed, public apologies issued and retractions published on platforms where the statements appeared. She also reportedly demanded N1 billion in compensation from Ugwuonye and N500 million from Theisen over the alleged defamatory publications.
