PDP Crisis: Bode George Slams Atiku Wike – Enough Of This Nonsense
Chief Bode George, a senior member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a member of its Board of Trustees, has criticized Atiku Abubakar and Nyesom Wike for fueling the ongoing crisis within the opposition party…READ MORE…
Speaking on Arise TV’s The Morning Show on Friday, January 31, 2025, George expressed frustration over the party’s internal conflicts, describing them as “depressing” and warning that personal ambitions are tearing the PDP apart.
Tracing the root of the crisis back to the PDP’s 2023 national convention, the 79-year-old politician accused both Atiku and Wike of making serious political missteps.
“We need to stop blaming the APC and address our own issues. Atiku and Wike have both committed hara-kiri, and we must be bold enough to tell them—enough of this nonsense!” George declared.
“PDP Must Investigate and Punish Offenders”
Proposing solutions, the Lagos-based politician urged PDP leaders to set up a committee to investigate the crisis and hold those responsible accountable.
“We need to analyze the mess that started on convention day. Anyone guilty of serious misconduct must be sanctioned. The PDP is not a private enterprise—if you refuse to follow party regulations and attempt to manipulate the system for personal gain, then we will ease you out,” he warned.
