Breaking: EFCC Raids Goodwill Private-Schools In Ikorodu, Arrests Principal And Staff (Full-Details)
The sudden raid by officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at Goodwill Private Schools Limited in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Monday, June 24, resulted in the apprehension of the school’s principal, Olufemi-King Saidat, and staff member Collins Success Omodekah, causing chaos among students and sparking widespread criticism.
The school’s solicitor, Benson Enikuomehin, condemned the raid, asserting that it occurred without a warrant or clear reasons provided for the arrests. He highlighted previous encounters with the EFCC and demanded transparency from the agency, urging for the immediate release of those detained.
As of now, the EFCC has not issued an official statement regarding the incident, leaving questions unanswered amidst growing concerns over the circumstances surrounding the raid.
