BREAKING: IG Of Police Orders Investigation To Abba Kyari’s Indictment

The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali has ordered an immediate internal investigation into the activities of DCP Abba Kyari following his indictment by the Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI).

Kyari was indicted over his connection to the disgraced fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abass alias, Hushpuppi. The IG’s directive was contained in a statement issued by Force PRO, Frank Mba on Thursday evening.

The statement seen by POLITICS NIGERIA read;

“Sequel to the receipt of allegation and indictment processes from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) against one of the personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, DCP Abba Kyari, the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba psc (+), NPM, fdc has ordered an internal review of the allegations.”
