According to sources, Senator Eze had been unwell, which prevented him from attending his child’s wedding earlier this year in Lagos State.
Ayogu Eze was a notable figure in Nigerian politics, having been a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He notably contested for the governorship of Enugu State under the APC banner.
