Thursday. The seizures include over 2,000 bags of rice, 1,128 parcels of cannabis, 166 pneumatic tyres, 360 cartons of imported shoes, and more. These operations target key smuggling hotspots, including Idiroko and the Imeko-Afon axis, and highlight the ongoing battle to protect Nigeria’s economy. Shuaibu emphasized the harmful impact of rice smuggling on local production and vowed to continue the fight against illegal trade in Ogun State.
