APC Will Rule Beyond 2031’ – Tinubu Campaign DG Yari Declares

Former Zamfara State Governor and Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdul’Aziz Yari, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will retain control of the Nigerian government beyond the 2027 general elections.

According to IREPORTERONLINE, Yari, who was recently appointed Director-General of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign organisation, made the declaration on Sunday after returning to Nigeria from an overseas trip.

The former governor was welcomed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja by APC members, supporters and political associates who gathered to receive him.

Yari said the Tinubu administration had recorded progress since assuming office and expressed optimism that the President would secure a second term in the 2027 presidential election.

He assured Nigerians that the ruling party remained committed to fulfilling the promises made during the 2023 election campaign.

According to him, the APC would continue working to deliver on its commitments while seeking to maintain the confidence of Nigerians.

Yari also appealed for divine guidance for President Tinubu, saying the President would, by God’s grace, remain in office after the 2027 election.

He further expressed confidence that the APC would remain the dominant political party in the country even after Tinubu completes a possible second term in 2031.

The campaign Director-General said the party’s long-term objective was to continue leading Nigeria and build on its political strength across the country.

His comments come as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the APC already putting structures in place for President Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
