Former Adamawa State Governor Mohammed Bindow has rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) after previously leaving the party for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to IREPORTERONLINE, Bindow completed his re-registration as an APC member in his ward in Mubi, Adamawa State, where he was welcomed by party leaders, supporters, political associates, friends, family members and other well-wishers.

The re-registration exercise was witnessed by the Mubi APC Chairman, Alhaji Ahmadu Guruja, alongside a large gathering of party supporters who turned out to receive the former governor.

Bindow explained that his decision to return to the APC followed consultations with several political associates and individuals close to him.

He said his return was also influenced by his belief in party discipline and his opposition to actions capable of weakening political parties from within.

The former governor disclosed that he consulted Vice President Kashim Shettima before making his final decision. He described Shettima as his brother and a close political associate.

Bindow also spoke about his recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu, describing the encounter as cordial and positive.

According to him, Tinubu welcomed his decision to return to the APC and expressed satisfaction with his renewed commitment to the ruling party.
