BREAKING: President Tinubu And Key Delegation Set To Address Middle East Crisis At Saudi Summit

The summit, scheduled for Monday, November 11, 2024, was organized at the invitation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and follows last year’s summit in Riyadh. President Tinubu will address the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, underscoring Nigeria’s strong advocacy for an immediate ceasefire and the urgent pursuit of a peaceful solution.
The statement also highlighted that Nigeria will call for renewed commitment to the two-state solution as a means to establish lasting peace in the region. Accompanying the President will be key officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar; National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris; and Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed. President Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja after the summit concludes.
