Ndidi, who has been out of action since sustaining an injury during Leicester’s 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion two weeks ago, was notably absent during the Foxes’ heavy 4-0 defeat to Newcastle United last weekend.

In a statement, Van Nistelrooy shared, “Wilfred is still in the process of rehabilitation and is not yet involved in training on the pitch. Therefore, he will not be available for the Wolves match.”

The Nigerian international has made just 15 appearances for Leicester in the league this season due to injury concerns.

Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has received good news regarding his squad ahead of their match against Crystal Palace this Saturday. Arteta confirmed that both Declan Rice and Riccardo Calafiori have recovered from injury and will be available for selection.

Rice had missed Arsenal’s 3-2 Carabao Cup victory over Crystal Palace earlier this week, while Calafiori returns after a spell on the sidelines.

Arteta expressed optimism about their fitness, saying, “Both Declan and Riccardo are ready to be included in the squad.”

However, Arteta also provided an update on defenders Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko, both of whom remain doubtful for the match. “Tomiyasu and Zinchenko are unlikely to feature,” Arteta added.

Arsenal will be eager to secure a crucial three points to stay in close pursuit of league leaders Liverpool and Chelsea, especially after recent back-to-back draws with Fulham and Everton.
