Carter Efe Knocks Out Portable’s Dream, Crowned New Celebrity Boxing King

According to Ireporter Online, social media comedian Carter Efe has defeated street artiste Portable to clinch the celebrity boxing title at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event held in Lagos.

The bout took place at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, where Efe delivered a dominant performance across all three rounds. At the end of the contest, all three judges scored it 27–30 in favour of Efe, handing Portable his first defeat in celebrity boxing and ending his reign as champion.

Portable entered the fight unbeaten, having previously secured victories against Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington to win two titles. Confident ahead of the showdown, he had vowed to claim a third belt, insisting he would defeat Efe. However, Efe dismissed the claims before the fight, promising a decisive outcome and ultimately backing it up inside the ring.

From the opening round, Portable pushed forward aggressively with wild punches, but Efe remained composed, absorbing pressure and responding with cleaner counterattacks. In the second round, Efe increased his control, landing more accurate combinations while Portable struggled with wide and less effective shots. The third round followed a similar pattern, with Efe maintaining dominance until the final bell.

The result marks a significant upset in the celebrity boxing scene, officially crowning Carter Efe as the new champion.
