Electric vehicle company EV Motors has partnered with Balmoral Group to provide two brand-new electric vehicles as prizes for winners of the headline celebrity boxing matches at the upcoming “Chaos in the Ring” event.

According to Ireporter Online, the partnership was announced during a press briefing at the EV Motors headquarters in Lagos, where both organisations highlighted their commitment to supporting Nigerian talent and creating more opportunities within the country’s sports and entertainment industries.

Under the agreement, winners of the highly anticipated boxing clashes between Portable and Charles Okocha, as well as Mr Real and Idowest, will each receive a brand-new electric vehicle as part of their rewards for emerging victorious.

The event, scheduled to hold on July 31 at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, is expected to attract major attention as one of the biggest editions of the celebrity boxing platform.

Chairman of EV Motors, Dr Ned Okonkwo, described the partnership as a collaboration between two Nigerian brands focused on promoting local talent and creating opportunities within the country.

He said the initiative goes beyond awarding cars, noting that it represents a commitment to empowering young Nigerians and encouraging them to pursue their ambitions locally.

According to Okonkwo, Nigeria possesses exceptional talent, particularly in boxing and entertainment, and platforms like Chaos in the Ring can help showcase these abilities to a global audience.

“This partnership is about changing lives, rewarding excellence and proving that Nigerians can achieve their dreams through opportunities created at home,” he said.

Adamu noted that the initiative was created not only to entertain fans but also to improve the careers and financial opportunities of African fighters.

He explained that the platform has helped several Nigerian boxers secure better earnings, international exposure and opportunities to compete on bigger stages.

According to him, Africa has always been rich in talent, but the major challenge has been creating platforms capable of showcasing and rewarding that talent.
