Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has defended her decision to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools in promoting her business, dismissing criticism from social media users who questioned her choice.

According to Ireporter Online, the actress addressed the controversy through an Instagram post where she shared a comparison between an original photo and an AI-generated version used for promotional purposes.

Nkechi questioned why some people were unhappy with her decision to adopt AI technology for advertising, insisting that businesses should be free to explore modern tools that can improve their marketing efforts.

She wrote, “Why are you people angry? The fact that you don’t use AI to advertise your business shouldn’t become my problem. Original image versus AI-generated image, why exactly are you upset?”

The actress argued that using AI for business promotion is similar to applying photo filters and other digital enhancements, stressing that she would continue to embrace technology despite criticism.

Nkechi said she would not abandon tools that help promote her brand simply because some people disagree with her approach.

“I should not stop selling my business because some critics do not use filters on their phones. I never said anything could make me stop using filters,” she added.

The actress further advised her critics to focus on their personal affairs rather than attacking her choice to use artificial intelligence for promotional content.
