FrankCee Takes Music Career Global With UK Deals And Major Awards

Nigerian recording artist Franklin Chinonso Diala, popularly known as FrankCee, has continued to strengthen his position in the music industry with a career that spans over a decade across Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

According to Ireporter Online, the artiste has gained recognition for his unique blend of Afrobeat, Afropop and contemporary African sounds, attracting attention from fans and key players within the entertainment industry.

FrankCee’s international journey began in 2015 after he secured a recording deal with UK-based music label Bashrobeat Limited, a move that marked a major turning point in his career.

The partnership opened doors for the singer to embark on a promotional tour of the United Kingdom, where he introduced his single, Marry Me, to a wider audience and expanded his presence within the UK music scene.

During his time in the UK, FrankCee also worked with entertainment companies including Brightknights Media and Events and Blacknights Entertainment, further strengthening his connection with the African entertainment community in Britain.

Back home in Nigeria, the singer has continued to build his profile through collaborations with established artistes, including Nigerian rapper Magnito, while contributing to the growth of the local music scene.

His musical efforts have also earned him industry recognition, with FrankCee receiving honours at the Abuja Entertainment and Meritorious Awards (ABEMA).

He was named Most Promising Artist at the 2022 edition of the awards before winning the Best Music Artist in Abuja category at the 2025 ceremony.

With achievements across both Nigerian and UK entertainment markets, FrankCee is steadily establishing himself as one of the emerging voices shaping the future of contemporary African music.
