Chadian Military Crushes Boko Haram With Heavy Losses: 96 Terrorists Dead, 15 Soldiers Killed
The forces also seized 107 individual weapons, three collective weapons, and destroyed six Boko Haram canoes used for their operations.
Sadly, 15 Chadian soldiers lost their lives in the clash, while 32 others were injured and transported to the capital, N’Djamena, for urgent medical treatment.
This conflict follows an earlier attack on a Chadian military base in Barkaram by militants, which had claimed the lives of about 40 soldiers last month. In response, Chadian forces launched a decisive retaliation, leading to the latest casualties.
