Chelsea-Confirms Young Goalkeeper-Lucas Bergstrom’s Early-Return From Loan (Details)
Chelsea confirmed on Tuesday that their young goalkeeper, Lucas Bergstrom, has returned from his loan spell at Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna.
The club announced in a statement on their website, “Lucas Bergstrom has returned from his loan at Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna.”
Bergstrom, who signed a new deal with Chelsea and joined IF Brommapojkarna on loan in February, was initially set to stay until January 2025. However, the 21-year-old’s loan has been cut short, and he returns to Chelsea ahead of pre-season.
During his time with the Scandinavian club, Bergstrom made four appearances in all competitions. He now hopes to join new head coach Enzo Maresca’s squad for the pre-season tour in the United States later this summer.
