Crayon Throws Shade At Don Jazzy: ‘Marvin Is Going Down
According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian singer Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known as Crayon, has ignited speculation about a potential departure from Mavin Records after publicly criticising the label and its leadership on social media.
In a series of posts on , Crayon directed remarks at Mavin Records’ founder, Don Jazzy, as well as the label’s chief operating officer, Tega Oghenejobo. While his message toward Don Jazzy was somewhat playful, Crayon described Tega as a “highest criminal,” drawing significant attention from fans and the media.
The singer also claimed that he lost his mother due to circumstances involving the label, though he did not provide further details. Crayon, who joined Blowtime Entertainment, an imprint of Mavin Records, in May 2019, further warned that “Mavin is going down.”
It remains uncertain whether Crayon’s account was compromised, as he continues to post on Instagram without suggesting any hacking. On the platform, he introduced what appears to be a new venture, Olodum Entertainment, alongside a new booking email address.
Speculation has also emerged that Crayon’s recent single “Baami” is now being released under the Olodum Entertainment imprint, signaling a possible break from Mavin Records.
