Following the Jumat service at Lagos Central Mosque, Balogun, President Tinubu shared insights from their meeting via his verified X handle. The discussions centered on leveraging Nigeria’s rich traditional values to address societal challenges, enhance governance, and promote prosperity.

“Today, I had the honor of visiting His Majesty, Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos, at the historic Iga Idunganran Palace, a site deeply rooted in culture and tradition,” Tinubu posted. “We engaged in meaningful conversations about the role of traditional institutions in shaping society and explored ways they can strengthen their partnership with government efforts to foster development and stability.”
