Donald Trump Attends Return Of U.S. Soldiers K!lled In Iran War

According to reports monitored by Ireporter Online, the ceremony took place at Dover Air Force Base, the military facility traditionally used for the return of U.S. service members who die while deployed overseas.

The president, wearing a white “USA” baseball cap and accompanied by members of his cabinet, stood in salute as each flag-draped transfer case carrying the remains of the fallen soldiers was carefully removed from a military transport aircraft.

The six service members lost their lives last Sunday when a drone strike targeted a key U.S. command centre in Kuwait. The attack occurred just a day after the United States and Israel launched a large-scale military campaign against Iran, an operation that has significantly heightened tensions across the Middle East.

Amid the growing regional crisis, Iran’s military also issued a call to neighbouring Azerbaijan, urging the country to expel what it described as “Zionists” from its territory in order to prevent further instability.

In a statement cited by Ireporter Online, a military spokesperson said Tehran had urged the Azerbaijani government, describing it as a Muslim nation, to remove what it alleged were Israeli elements operating within its borders to avoid endangering regional security and the safety of its citizens.

Israel maintains close diplomatic and defence ties with Azerbaijan and is regarded as one of the country’s major arms suppliers. For years, Tehran has accused Israel of using Azerbaijani territory as a base for intelligence operations targeting Iran.

The latest development follows accusations from Baku on Friday claiming it had thwarted several alleged Iranian plots on its territory. Authorities said the foiled plans included attacks targeting a major oil pipeline, a synagogue and prominent leaders within the Jewish community.

Iran has yet to officially respond to those allegations.

Earlier in the week, reports also indicated that at least four drones crashed into Azerbaijan’s exclave of Nakhchivan on Thursday, with one reportedly striking an airport facility. Azerbaijani officials blamed Iran for the incident, while Tehran rejected the accusation and instead alleged that Israel may have orchestrated the event in an attempt to provoke further tensions in the region.
