Musa asserted that the EFCC’s investigation into Kwankwaso lacks justification and portrays him unfairly. In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Musa defended Kwankwaso as a diligent and upright individual, emphasizing that probing him is a futile endeavor.

“This action appears orchestrated by political adversaries aiming to besmirch Kwankwaso’s reputation,” Musa remarked, challenging the EFCC to substantiate their allegations with concrete evidence or risk being viewed as conducting a baseless witch-hunt.

“Why did the EFCC wait nearly a decade after his tenure to initiate this probe? Why target party matters?” Musa questioned, advocating for scrutiny of Kwankwaso’s record as Governor of Kano, Defense Minister, and Senator instead.

He further urged the EFCC to dismiss any petitions against Kwankwaso authored by politicians or their associates.
