Egor/Ikpoba Okha: Recipients Of Ise–Idehen’s Empowerment For Craftsmen Speak On Experience As Lawmaker Targets More Beneficiaries For Phase 3
The unprecedented vision of the member representing Egor/Ikpoba Okha Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Jude Ise–Idehen in empowering constituents in different skills initiatives has continued to overwhelm every progressive-minded fellow.
Hon Jude Ise–Idehen has instituted lots of empowerment schemes which is aimed at creating an enabling environment for entrepreneurial growth for constituents of Egor/Ikpoba Okha by developing an Ecosystem that will aid wealth creation and give youths the opportunity to achieve their potentials.
Earlier in January, the lawmaker organized a workshop and empowerment drive for electricians and auto-electricians with the phase two program in March 2021 covering mechanics and auto-mechanics.
The beneficiaries were tutored by seasoned facilitators and were empowered after the course. Some of the beneficiaries have continued to share their experiences as more constituents look forward to the third phase.
They commended the facilitator while describing the initiatives as educating and revealing, adding that it was an avenue for an alternative source of income in the present excruciating economy.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr Thompson Iyoha, who spoke on behalf of others, was full of appreciation to God for using the lawmaker to touch the lives of residents of Egor/Ikpoba Okha constituency.
“We are grateful to Hon Idehen for allowing himself to be used as a tool by God to touch the lives of his people, at least we no longer need to wait for the government to feed ourselves and members of our family.”
In reaction to the experiences of the recipients, a political aide of the lawmaker advised the beneficiaries to live up to expectations by appropriating the knowledge and tools invested in them for the benefit of themselves and the society at large, he urged them to treat the scheme seriously as more initiatives are on the way to ameliorate the economic hardship faced by constituents. He further said plans are already in progress for the third phase of the program.
