Popular Nigerian content creator Kuye Adegoke, known as Egungun of Lagos, has addressed the uproar caused by a leaked video that went viral over the weekend. The controversy follows revelations by Egungun’s wife, Pashotah, who recently disclosed that her husband was targeted in a blackmail attempt involving private videos. She explained that the incident stemmed from a screen-recorded Snapchat video Egungun had intended to send to her but accidentally posted on his public story.
Despite her earlier defence of their marriage, the latest incident has led to intensified scrutiny of Egungun’s personal life, with some questioning his credibility as a family man and challenging his wife’s loyalty.
In response, Egungun appeared unbothered by the backlash, sharing a carefree Instagram post. In the video, he was seen dancing energetically with a woman in his living room to the song Gimme Love by Zlatan and Olamide, captioning it, “That’s massive baby but still give me your love baby.”
The incident continues to stir debate online, with fans and critics expressing divided opinions.
