Nollywood actress Bisola Aiyeola has opened up about her past relationship with the father of her child, revealing that their romance progressed to an engagement before they eventually decided to part ways.

According to IREPORTERONLINE, Aiyeola shared the details during an interview with Chude on Saturday, August 8, 2026, while reflecting on her personal journey and the changes she experienced after participating in the MTN Project Fame reality show.

The actress disclosed that she became engaged to her former partner after leaving the reality show, as their relationship had developed into plans for a future together.

Although the couple welcomed a child during their relationship, their engagement did not eventually lead to marriage.

Aiyeola explained that they remained together for some time after the birth of their child before their relationship encountered difficulties.

She revealed that the relationship eventually came to an end when their child turned two, after which both parties decided to continue their lives separately.

The actress said she initially worried about how people would react to her decision to leave the relationship, particularly because some individuals compared her situation with experiences from her mother’s life.

According to her, she eventually realised that the relationship was no longer working and decided to move on.

Aiyeola added that her former partner later attempted to reconcile with her, but she chose not to resume the relationship.
