Eleme-Youths Occupy Council Secretariat, Affirm Governor Fubara As Sole-Authority (Details)
Eleme Local Government Area in Rivers State witnessed a dramatic scene as local youths stormed the council secretariat, asserting Governor Siminalayi Fubara as their only recognized authority.
Following Governor Fubara’s directive for Heads of Local Government Administration to assume control of the state’s 23 LGAs, the youths mobilized and occupied the council premises, expelling dissenting officials.
In a show of force, the youths proclaimed their allegiance to Governor Fubara, declaring their intent to uphold his directive and maintain control over Eleme.
