Wunmi Mosaku Welcomes Second Child With Husband Tash Moseley

British-Nigerian actress Wunmi Mosaku has welcomed her second child, a baby boy, with her husband, Tash Moseley.

According to reports, the 40-year-old actress shared the news as she featured in a British Vogue photoshoot, where she was pictured cradling her newborn son while her two-year-old daughter appeared behind her.

Mosaku, known for her role in the film Sinners, had announced her second pregnancy during the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards in January.

She revealed her baby bump on the red carpet in a flowing yellow gown designed by Matthew Reisman.

Speaking about her experience with fashion designers during her pregnancy, Mosaku said designers had been supportive of dressing her changing body without requiring her to compromise on her style.

“Designers happily embraced my growing bump with no pushback or compromise,” she said.

The actress also expressed hope that the fashion industry would continue to embrace women with different body shapes beyond pregnancy.

“I really hope designers remain equally excited about dressing regular curves, not just pregnancy bumps,” she added.

Mosaku further opened up about her concerns about returning to the industry’s conventional sample sizes after pregnancy, saying she hoped designers would continue creating outfits that accommodated her body naturally.

Away from motherhood and fashion, the actress reflected on her childhood and career during the interview, revealing that she rarely received compliments about her appearance while growing up, except from members of her family.

Mosaku recalled the death of her uncle Hubert when she was 12 and remembered asking her mother who would call her “pretty” after his passing.

Reflecting on her career following the success of Sinners, Mosaku admitted that she had started feeling “a little bit jaded by the industry.”

The actress said that any future project requiring her to spend time away from her family would need to bring her joy and maintain a positive working environment.

She also vowed to speak out against bullying and bad behaviour on set, regardless of the status or reputation of those involved.

“There need not be one bad spirit, one bad energy on the set,” Mosaku said, adding that she would no longer remain silent when confronted with unacceptable behaviour.

“I don’t care who it is. It could be a dame or a sir, I don’t care who it is. I will have the courage to stand up to bad behaviour.”
