encouraged citizens to continue their daily activities without fear.
According to reports, the viral video features an unidentified man who advised residents of Enugu and other southeastern states to remain indoors on those dates, citing plans to unveil Biafran armoured vehicles. However, Uzuegbu dismissed the claims, calling them unfounded and an attempt to spread fear and unrest.
The Commissioner emphasized that Enugu State has moved past these illegal and criminal sit-at-home orders, which are often linked to secessionist agendas. He reassured the public that the police, alongside other security agencies, are fully prepared to maintain peace and order across the state.
Uzuegbu issued a stern warning to anyone planning to disrupt public order, stating that they would face severe consequences. He also advised parents and guardians to caution their children against participating in activities that threaten the peace, warning that those involved would face serious legal repercussions.
Lastly, the Police Commissioner urged residents to remain vigilant, follow the law, and report any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police station.
