In a recent appearance on the ‘Deep Dive’ podcast hosted by comedian Teju Babyface, Iyke shared insights into his approach to friendships, highlighting his preference for individuals who can embrace growth and move past past conflicts.

“We don’t hang around emotions. We don’t have time for it. That’s why I can’t be friends with everybody,” he expressed.

Explaining further, Iyke emphasized his constant evolution and the rapid pace at which he embraces change. He acknowledged that not everyone can keep up with his dynamic nature, which often leads to a natural selection of friends who align with his values.

“I need somebody that won’t be hung up on my last act. I’m too transitional for it. My propensity for growth is at an alacrity that you can’t keep up with,” he elaborated.

“I don’t want a friend that I am in your life every day. It’s never going to work because I will never show up for your kid’s birthday. You find me wanting at your anniversary,” he remarked.
