MTN Nigeria has issued an apology to its subscribers following the controversial 200% price increase on its 15GB data plan.

In a statement on Thursday, the telecom giant admitted the hike was an error, asking customers to “forgive and forget” in a lighthearted message.
“We know how upsetting it must have been… Let’s just say na mistake,” MTN said in Pidgin English, urging users to move on.
The apology comes after the NCC emphasized that all tariff adjustments must align with its regulatory guidelines, ensuring fairness for consumers.
