France Defeats England – World Cup
France sealed a 2-1 win vs England in their quarter-final fixture of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022, at the Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar on Sunday.

The defending champions took the lead via a long-range effort from Aurelien Tchouameni in the 17th minute. England equalized after Harry Kane converted a penalty in the 54th minute, followed by Oliver Giroud restoring France’s lead in the 78th minute.
Kane could have equalized for England once again but missed his penalty. After the win, France will face Morocco in the semi-finals.
