Gistlover Blog Operators Taken Into Custody By Law Eforcement.

The Gistlover blog, recognized for its microblogging platform, has faced accusations of engaging in cyberstalking, incitement, blackmail, and other illicit activities, prompting public concern over the years.

According to the released statement, the suspects disclosed their varying degrees of involvement in the alleged conspiracy, confirming existing substantial evidence. Adebukola Kolapo, also known as Omo oba Gistlover, was identified as the primary creator of more than 80 percent of Gistlover pages. His digital footprint played a crucial role in facilitating the criminal activities attributed to the blog.

Adebukola, who was reportedly on the payroll of the platform and received incentives such as car gifts and monetary rewards, was responsible for scouting, editing, and captioning content, including cyberstalking posts directed at Hon. And Dr. Mrs Oluseyi Oladejo. Furthermore, Adebukola was implicated in the laundering of funds acquired through illicit means.

Digital forensic analysis led to the discovery of eight Gistlover pages created under the instructions of the syndicate’s leader by Adebukola. The investigation also revealed wallet addresses utilized for laundering the ill-gotten funds.
