In a statement from the Governor’s Director General of Press and Media Affairs, Mamman Mohammed, it was announced that 205 nurses and midwives, all graduates from Shehu Sule College of Nursing and Midwifery, will be among the new hires.

Additionally, the governor sanctioned the recruitment of 219 health technicians specialized in various fields to fulfill the staffing needs of hospitals.

These new workers will be allocated to both rural and urban areas to ensure efficient healthcare delivery to residents throughout Yobe State.

The statement emphasized that this initiative aligns with the administration’s commitment to providing accessible and affordable healthcare services to the public.

Governor Buni urged the newly appointed health workers to demonstrate dedication in their roles to validate the government’s investment and trust in them.

He reaffirmed that improving healthcare services remains a top priority for his administration, which will continue to equip hospitals with necessary facilities, medical supplies, and qualified personnel for enhanced healthcare delivery in the state.
