Heartbreak For AFRIMA President Wife Passes Away After Brief Illness

According to a statement released by Dada on Monday, she died peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Duchess Hospital in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, after a brief illness, surrounded by her family.

The statement highlights that Modupe was deeply committed to family values, community service, and inclusivity, with a profound love for God and Africa. A Service of Songs is scheduled for 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Grace Assembly, Yard 158, Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun-Ikeja, Lagos. The farewell service will take place the following day, Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 10:00 am at the same venue, followed by a private interment.

“It is with deep sorrow that we, the Dada family, announce the passing of our beloved wife and sister, Modupe Temitope Dada, affectionately known as Dupsy, Mama Africa. She was a loving wife, mother, and a compassionate soul whose absence will be profoundly felt,” the statement read. The family has asked for prayers and support as they navigate this difficult time.

Modupe Temitope Dada was born on May 5, 1976, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria.
