High Expectations As Buhari Is Set To Activate 2nd Niger Bridge Ahead Of Tinubu’s Electoral Campaigns (Videos)
A “signature” item is something that is most closely associated with a person or that person’s greatest accomplishment. So, in this case, we can say that the second Niger Bridge was Buhari’s signature achievement, and when people, particularly in the South East, think of Buhari, the second Niger Bridge is likely to be the first thing that comes to mind.
The project is over 90% complete, and the federal government is working around the clock to ensure that it is commissioned in October of this year. Already so many residents from the South East have been hailing Buhari over this project, they have even turned the project site into a tourist attraction ahead of the commissioning.
Aside from the glitz and glam of this massive project, which would bring unprecedented development to the South East, there is euphoria about how this project will be accepted by South Easterners ahead of the 2023 presidential elections.
Many Nigerians believe that the project will be one of Tinubu’s selling points for the APC in the South East, so the commissioning will go a long way toward appreciating some of the landmark infrastructure achievements of the Buhari administration.
In this viral video, Raphael Chukwuemeka praised Buhari for completing this enormous project.
Nigerians have reacted to the fantastic project as expected. Many have thanked Buhari for it and expressed hope that Tinubu’s incoming administration will do more to provide massive infrastructure to Nigerians, citing Lagos as support for their claim.
Here are some responses from respondents to the GREAT Bridge’s much-anticipated commissioning.
Enoma Christopher
“This is encouraging and will go a long way to assuage our people from the South East who have been neglected in one way or another by previous governments. Buhari has done well in providing infrastructures, and it is my belief that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will do far more than the current government.”
Ighile Solomon.
“”There is no doubt Tinubu would make an excellent president. Recall that when the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabamila, visited Rivers State to commission some projects, Wike informed him about his construction of over 12 flyovers across the state.”
In his response, Femi clarified that while his signature flyover projects are commendable, if he comes to Lagos, they will be discussing the construction of over 1000 flyovers from 1999 to date. Tinubu is a trailblazer who will undoubtedly make us proud.”
Nigerians are confident that Tinubu’s emergence will herald a slew of signature projects across the country.
View the video below @ the Owerri interchange of the second Niger bridge, and share your thoughts on the second Niger bridge, which is almost finished. Would it be crucial in influencing South East voters to support Tinubu and Shettima’s ticket?
