I Have Turned Him Into A Rastafarian And Reggae Artist – Shehu Sani Reacts To El-Rufa’s Cryptic Post On X (Twitter)

Nasir el-Rufai, the ex-governor of Kaduna, has turned to social media to share a cryptic message shortly after his nomination as a minister was rejected by the Senate a few weeks ago.

El-Rufai’s name was included among the 48 nominees for ministerial positions sent by President Bola Tinubu to the upper legislative chamber for evaluation and approval.

Nevertheless, during the screening process on August 7, the former Kaduna governor, along with two other nominees, did not receive confirmation from the Senate.

The Senate cited “adverse” security reports regarding el-Rufai and announced that he must await clearance.

This incident led to widespread reactions within and outside of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Although there were reports suggesting that el-Rufai had chosen to withdraw from the race due to the delays, the former Kaduna governor has remained silent on the matter.

However, on Sunday, el-Rufai shared the lyrics of Bob Marley’s song ‘Who The Cap Fit’ on a post on X (formerly Twitter), hinting at his response to the situation.

In what seems to be a response to El-Rufai’s social media post, Shehu Sani, the former senator from Kaduna, tweeted that he has “turned him into a Rastafarian and Reggae artist”
