General Musa made this appeal during an official visit to SANDF Chief, General Rudzani Maphwanya, in Pretoria, South Africa.

According to a statement from Brigadier-General Tukur Gusau, Acting Director of Defence Information, the meeting was described as a crucial step in addressing the continent’s diverse security challenges. The focus was on reinforcing bilateral ties and fostering mutual cooperation.

Gusau noted that the Nigerian Defence Chief was honored with cannon salutes during the visit, underscoring the high regard in which he was held.

“General Maphwanya underscored the importance of this meeting between the two leading economies and military powers in Africa,” Gusau added. The meeting was attended by senior SANDF officials, including the Chiefs of Intelligence, Policy and Plans, International Affairs, and Joint Operations.
