Chief Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, recently paid a visit to the Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, at his office. The meeting focused on strategies to enhance women’s empowerment across the nation.

During the discussion, Chief Tinubu-Ojo emphasized the pivotal role women play in Nigeria’s economic and social spheres. She highlighted the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and traders, particularly in accessing financial resources, education, and market opportunities. He outlined current and upcoming initiatives aimed at creating an enabling environment for women to thrive economically. These initiatives include skill acquisition programs, grants for female entrepreneurs, and the development of infrastructures that support women’s businesses.
