Nigerian socialite and businessman Paschal Okechukwu, popularly known as Chiefpriest, has reacted to the recent deadly attacks in Jos, Plateau State. According to reports, Chiefpriest alleged that the violence was orchestrated to coincide with and embarrass President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his birthday.

Expressing concern over the persistent insecurity in the country, he called for stronger leadership and enhanced security measures. In a message shared on Instagram, he stated, “The Jos attack was clearly done to embarrass our President on his birthday. I pray God gives him the energy to select people capable of leading with him.”

The attacks left multiple casualties and injured many others. Videos circulating online captured the distress of victims and their families, sparking widespread alarm and grief among residents.

Public figures and citizens alike have criticized the incident, demanding immediate action to curb insecurity and hold perpetrators accountable. In a related reaction, Nollywood actor Zubby Michaels advised Christians living in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area, to consider relocating for safety following the deadly attack that claimed several lives.
