In a session led by Justice Uwani Abba-Aji on Friday, the court dismissed the appeals filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenging Otti’s election.

Justice Abba-Aji held that the appellants failed to substantiate their claims of Otti’s disqualification and substantial non-compliance in the election.

This decision upholds the previous judgments of the election tribunal and the Court of Appeal.

The Supreme Court is currently addressing another appeal filed by the APC and its candidate, Ikechi Emenike, related to Otti’s election.
