Kano Senatorial Candidate Escapes As 17 Others Get Injured During Attack On Convoy
According to Naija News, 17 people in the convoy were injured in varying degrees, and 17 cars were damaged, but the candidate escaped unharmed. The attack took place on Saturday night in the vicinity of Rimin Kebe’s Gadar Katako, which borders Kano State’s Nassarawa and Ungogo Local Government Areas.
When the hoodlums attacked, Zaura was said to be returning from a condolence visit to Gayawa village in Ungogo Local Government Area. The incident was also confirmed by Zaura’s media aide, Ibrahim Mua’azzam, in a statement issued to journalists on Sunday.

He siad “An interim assessment of the damage caused by this inimical act has so far revealed 17 minor and major casualties. The major casualties are undergoing treatment at the Murtala Muhammad Specialists Hospital. We also have 17 cars damaged. “Zaura wants to assure victims of the attack that they would be taken care of absolutely. We can also assure you that all legal means will be taken against the culprit and I can tell you they would be brought to book.”
When contacted about the development, Kano Police Command spokesperson SP Abdullahi Haruna stated that he was still investigating the location where the incident occurred.
