Kebbi Governor Appoints New Auditor General For Local Government

The appointment was formalized through a letter dated March 25, 2024, endorsed by Safiyanu Garba Bena, the Head of the Civil Service. This announcement was disclosed to the media in Birnin Kebbi on Monday.

In part, the letter states, “I am delighted to notify you that the Governor of Kebbi State, His Excellency, Dr. Nasir Idris, has sanctioned your appointment as Auditor General for Local Government, effective from March 24, 2024.
