The stolen amount, estimated to be equivalent to N20 million, is said to involve two security aides and a Protocol Officer in the deputy governor’s office.
The incident, which occurred before the Christmas break, allegedly saw the trio conspiring to steal money left in the deputy governor’s office by foreign investors interested in Lithium mining in Nasarawa State.
The suspects, affiliated with the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), are currently under investigation by concerned security authorities.
