According to Ireporter Online, the Nigeria Police Force has recorded a major boost in its personnel strength with the successful passing out of 10,000 newly trained constables. The milestone marks another significant step in the Force’s ongoing efforts to enhance security and operational efficiency across the country.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed that the recruits completed their intensive training programs conducted simultaneously across all Police Colleges and Training Institutions nationwide. The Passing Out Parade, which held on Tuesday, symbolized the Force’s renewed commitment to global policing standards and professional excellence.

Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, while addressing the new officers, praised their resilience and dedication throughout the demanding training process. He urged them to uphold the principles of integrity, diligence, and patriotism as they commence their service to the nation.

The recruits underwent comprehensive instruction in modern policing techniques, community engagement, intelligence-driven operations, and respect for human rights. According to the statement, this latest batch of constables is part of the strategic manpower development initiative introduced under the current police administration to boost security visibility, improve rapid response, and reinforce public safety nationwide. The Force had earlier, in January 2025, graduated another set of 10,000 constables from its training institutions.
