Niniola Sh*cks Fans, Denies Secret Marriage: “I Don’t Care What Anyone Says”

Nigerian award-winning singer, Niniola Apata, has addressed widespread rumours suggesting she secretly got married, dismissing the speculation as entirely false.

According to reports from Ireporter Online, the “Maradona” crooner made the clarification during a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, following growing assumptions that her reduced public appearances were due to a private marriage.

Niniola, 38, firmly stated that she is not married and remains unconcerned about what people say regarding her personal life. The singer emphasized that she is mature enough to make her own decisions and speak openly about them.

“I don’t care whatever anyone does or says [regarding my personal life]. After all, I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m old enough to say whatever it is I want to say with my full chest. I’m not married,” she said.

When asked why she has not collaborated musically with her younger sister, Teni, Niniola explained that such a collaboration would happen at the right time and under the right circumstances. She noted that music is a business venture, stressing that family ties do not interfere with professional decisions.

Her comments come shortly after a viral video surfaced online showing her with what appeared to be a baby bump, sparking widespread speculation about a possible pregnancy. The clip, shared on her Instagram page, featured Niniola playfully captioning it, “Lo Condom Lo Condom… You No Hear Word, Now You Done Get Belle New Music Loading,” which quickly triggered mixed reactions from fans.

Many social media users debated whether the singer was hinting at an actual pregnancy or simply teasing an upcoming music release. The video follows the success of her recent single, Ginger Me, which went viral for its message promoting safe sex and responsible behavior among young people.
