No More Tolerance For Assaults On Officers In The Field – FRSC

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has issued a stern warning against the unprovoked attacks on its officers, stating that such actions will no longer be tolerated. This statement was made by Yakubu Mohammad, Commandant of the FRSC Road Marshal Assistants School in Shendam, Plateau State, during the closing ceremony of a one-week training program for Marshal Assistants on Friday.

Mohammad emphasized that motorists must adhere to traffic regulations and cooperate with road marshals to prevent incidents of assault during patrols and rescue operations. He stressed that the FRSC is committed to ensuring the safety of its personnel while they perform their duties.

The training program, which began on August 25 and concluded on August 30, aimed to enhance the skills and professionalism of the 415 participating Road Marshal Assistants. The course covered topics such as rescue operations, enforcement, the use of technology, discipline, and public interaction.
