Nollywood Actor Mike Folarin Says Fan K!ssed Him Without Consent In Lagos Club

According to Ireporter Online, Nollywood actor Mike Folarin has shared what he described as one of his most uncomfortable experiences as a public figure, revealing that he has been kissed by fans without his consent.

The actor made the disclosure during a candid conversation with media personality VJ Adams, where he spoke about the challenges of dealing with overly enthusiastic admirers. Folarin explained that while he appreciates the love from fans, some encounters have crossed personal boundaries.

He recounted an incident that occurred at a club in Lagos, where he was unexpectedly kissed by a female fan. According to him, the situation was unsettling, adding that the environment suggested many people present were intoxicated at the time.

Folarin stressed the importance of respect and personal boundaries, urging fans to always seek consent before engaging physically with celebrities. He emphasized that consent remains essential, regardless of fame or public visibility.

In a related development, actor Daniel Etim-Effiong has also opened up about a deeply personal episode from his past that significantly altered his life’s direction. Speaking in an interview monitored by Ireporter Online, Etim-Effiong revealed that he was expelled from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, after being wrongly accused of cultism.

The actor said the allegation came as a shock and left him emotionally devastated, particularly because he believed he was innocent. Following his expulsion, he relocated to Jos, Plateau State, where he experienced a sense of freedom that was accompanied by anger and confusion.

Etim-Effiong disclosed that during that period, he developed habits he attributed to frustration and disappointment, noting that the experience strained his relationship with God. He explained that he had been an active member of a Christian fellowship at the time and had expected support when the accusation emerged.

According to the actor, the fellowship failed to stand by him or challenge the decision, a response that left him deeply hurt and discouraged. Over time, he said the lack of support caused him to withdraw from church activities, feeling abandoned during one of the most difficult moments of his life.
