Omah Lay Sparks Buzz As He Allegedly Leaves Islam, Returns To Christianity
Nigerian music star Omah Lay has reportedly returned to Christianity after previously suggesting that he had converted to Islam. According to Ireporter Online, the Rivers State-born artiste had earlier shared posts indicating he had embraced Islam, a move that attracted significant attention from fans and the public.
In a recent update posted on his Snapchat page, the singer disclosed a shift in his spiritual journey, revealing that he has redirected his focus to the Bible. He noted that while he found his experience reading the Quran meaningful, he ultimately feels a deeper connection with the Bible, signaling a return to his Christian roots.
In a separate development, the artiste opened up about a recent relationship that ended on a painful note. Speaking during the listening party for his new album, Clarity of Mind, Omah Lay revealed that the relationship, which lasted just two months, had a profound impact on him as he had emotionally invested in it and even envisioned starting a family.
He further disclosed that the breakup occurred during the Grammy Awards while Justin Bieber was performing, a moment he described as particularly difficult given the circumstances.
