Pastor Dies Fasting To Break Jesus’ 40-day Record
Francisco Barajah, a pastor, died in Mozambique while fasting for 40 days to allegedly break Jesus’ record on the biblical Mount of Olives.
According to the BBC, the Mozambican man of God could only observe 25 of the forty days he had planned before his death.
According to the BBC, Barajah, pastor and founder of the Santa Trindade Evangelical Church in Mozambique’s central province of Manica, died on Wednesday.

Barajah was reportedly receiving treatment at a hospital in Beira when he died.
He’d been rushed there in critical condition after fasting for 25 days.
The man of God had lost so much weight that he couldn’t stand up, bathe, or walk, and efforts to help him regain his health had waned.
As his condition worsened, his relatives and church members took him to the hospital for treatment.
Doctors tried everything they could to save him, but the damage to his health was probably irreversible, so he died.
