According to a social media post, Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu, SAN, one of the counsels for Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi, has never lost a case since beginning his legal career.

VERIFICATION

According to Trinube Online, there is no official record or data to support the claim that Peter Obi’s lawyer, Dr. Ikpeazu’s has never lost a case.

Further investigation revealed that Dr Ikpeazu lost his case (AKINLADE V ABIODUN) at the Ogun Election Tribunal in 2019 after his client (Adekunle Akinlade of the Allied Peoples Movement) was defeated by the then governor, Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the list goes on.
