Police Bust Criminal Hideout In Kano, 41 Suspects Arrested, Weapons Seized
The Kano State Police Command has made a significant breakthrough in its ongoing fight against crime in the state. In compliance with directives from the Inspector-General of Police to enhance visibility and patrols, the command conducted a series of raids on known criminal hideouts and high-crime areas within Kano Metropolis.
On Wednesday, the police arrested 41 suspects and seized dangerous weapons and illicit drugs during these operations. In a statement, SP Kiyawa expressed appreciation for public support, noting a marked reduction in crime rates as a result of collaborative efforts. CP Dogo reaffirmed the police command’s commitment to maintaining safety and security, urging continued public cooperation to further curb criminal activities.
