Power Crisis: Nigerian Manufacturers Call For Urgent Action To Boost Energy Supply
The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has expressed concerns over the negative impact of inadequate power supply on industry productivity. Energy Security Summit.The summit, themed “Energy Adequacy for Industrial Growth,” is scheduled to take place in Lagos from November 19 to 21. Meshioye highlighted the essential role of reliable energy in fostering industrial growth and sustaining economic development. He noted that persistent issues like insufficient power supply, unreliable energy infrastructure, and high electricity costs are stifling industry growth, discouraging investment, and reducing job creation.
Meshioye urged the government to tackle these challenges for the economy’s advancement. He added that the summit aims to unite industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore innovative solutions, share best practices, and form partnerships that drive growth and sustainability in the sector.
